The Latin-American Symposium on Dependable and Secure Computing (LADC) is the major event on dependability and security of computer systems in Latin America<\/strong>. LADC 2026 will feature technical sessions, workshops, tutorials, a fast abstracts track, keynote talks from international experts in the area, and an industrial track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The symposium is promoted by the Special Committee on Fault-Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC). LADC 2026 will be co-located with SBESC 2026 (Symposium on Computing Systems Engineering), in Salvador, Brazil, from November 24-27, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Fast Abstracts track accepts contributions of up to two pages<\/strong> (excluding references)<\/strong>, intended for the dissemination of early-stage ideas, preliminary results, ongoing research proposals, or position papers and perspectives on emerging topics in dependability and security. The goal is to provide an agile venue for discussion and exchange of ideas with the community, without requiring the maturity of a full paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Unlike regular papers, fast abstracts are not expected to present extensive results or a complete solution<\/strong>: they are evaluated based on relevance, originality, and their potential to spark productive discussion during the symposium. Submissions describing partial practical experiences, tools under development, or exploratory studies are also welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All aspects of dependable and secure systems and networks fall within the scope of this track<\/strong>, including fault-tolerant architectures, protocols, and algorithms, models for performance and dependability evaluation, as well as experimentation and assessment of dependable and secure systems and networks. Authors are invited to submit original work on research and practice in creating, validating, deploying, and maintaining dependable and secure systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n *** * All dates refer to AoE time (Anywhere on Earth) * ***<\/p>\n\n\n\n Academics and industrial practitioners are invited to submit fast abstracts limited to two pages (SBC LaTeX template). Accepted papers will be published in the SBC Digital Open Library (https:\/\/sol.sbc.org.br\/<\/a>) as a supplemental volume of the LADC proceedings. If accepted, at least one author is committing to present the paper at the conference.
